Two Swiss cities as part of a newly funded ICOS project tackling urban areas

ICOS has been granted an EU funded project to develop a greenhouse gas measurement system for urban areas. Zurich is one of three pilot cities where the feasibility of different measurement approaches in different areas will be tested. Basel is among 12 other cities that will join the city network in order to increase the impact and to make sure the concept developed will fit for different types of cities in different countries and landscapes.

Congratulation to all ICOS-CH members who will be involved in the PAUL (‘Pilot Application in Urban Landscapes – towards integrated city observatories for greenhouse gases’) project! Read more here.
