The latest issue of FLUXES - The European Greenhouse Gas Bulletin - has been published by ICOS yesterday and deals with "Cities: from emission hotspot to climate action innovators."
The 2025 edition of FLUXES reveals how real-time urban greenhouse gas emission data can guide cities towards net zero. Three European cities (Paris, Zurich, Munich) have tested real-time, high-accuracy greenhouse gas emission monitoring to boost their decarbonisation plans within the ICOS Cities project in which Lukas Emmenegger (ICOS-CH PI) and Stavros Stagakis (Researcher for ICOS-CH at University of Basel) are involved.
