On 21st of August, the Jungfraujoch station PIs had the pleasure to welcome WMO's Secretary General, Celeste Saulo. She was accompanied by a delegation of MeteoSwiss, led by Christoph Appenzeller (MeteoSwiss director).
The group was welcomed by Markus Leuenberger (Director of the Jungfraujoch station, University of Bern) and Martin Steinbacher (Empa), who gave a tour through the laboratory also hosting the ICOS measurements. The delegation did not only learn about the science at Top of Europe but also enjoyed the magnificent view from the terrace in wonderful weather.
