ICOS-CH consortium members joined the second Swiss National GAW/GCOS Symposium which took place on 25/26 March 2026 in Ittigen, Bern.
Around 100 experts of the Swiss GAW/GCOS communities came together at the Swiss National GAW/GCOS Symposium with the overall aim of "Reviewing Progress, Setting Priorities". Iris Feigenwinter (ETH Zurich, ICOS-CH Station PI of Davos Station) and Martin Steinbacher (Empa, ICOS-CH Station PI of Jungfraujoch station) were part of the Scientific Programme Committee and were actively involved in meeting organisation from the beginning. Susanne Burri (ETH Zurich, ICOS-CH coordinator) presented the updated ICOS-CH national network poster. Also other ICOS-CH related work from Empa, MeteoSwiss, ETH Zurich and University of Basel was presented during the poster sessions. The two days were a good opportunity for ICOS-CH to exchange with GAW/GCOS on the national level and a great insight into other observational data and networks.
